Water

  • City of Farmington 20th Street Project will consist of:
  1. Water Line Replacement Project (estimated start April 2016, estimated completion October 2016) 
  2. Electric Line Underground Project (estimated start June 6, 2016, estimated completion January 2017)
  3. Sidewalk and Landscaping Project (estimated start will be determined by the progress of previous projects, expected April 2017 start date)  ON HOLD
  4. Curb and Gutter replacement (estimated start date will be determined by the progress of previous projects)
  5. Overlay (estimated start date will be determined by the progress of previous projects)

  • Foothills Drive will be have RESTRICTIONS to allow for waterline construction. Area residents/schools/businesses may experience low water pressure.  Detours and barricading will be in place and delays are expected. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

CH2M Notices:

The City of Farmington will be making repair on utilities in the area of Hallmarc Dr,  Tuesday 9-6-16. During this time, there may be no water or low water pressure to homes and businesses in the affected area including Drinen Ln, Parkland Estates, East Main St from Hallmarc Dr east to Kira Ln. The service outage is expected to take place between 10:00 pm and 4:00 am


[1] Wednesday 9/7/16 The City of Farmington will be making repair on utilities in the area of Sagebrush St, Redwood Ave & Cypress St. During this time, there may be no water or low water pressure to homes and businesses in the affected area. The service outage is expected to take place between 10:00 pm and 12:00 am.

[2] Thursday 9/8/16 The City of Farmington will be making repair on utilities in the area of Alder St & Beech St. During this time, there may be no water or low water pressure to homes and businesses in the affected area. The service outage is expected to take place between 10:00 pm and 12:00 am.


While every effort will be made to complete the repairs within this timeframe, unforeseen circumstances may require a longer outage. If the service disruption will last significantly longer than anticipated, we will provide additional updates.
