Settlement to City2013-11-04T00:00:00The Farmington Museum invites you to view an expansive display of historic and contemporary photography at this new exhibit. Farmington has changed dramatically over the years. Experience a slice of Farmington's past in comparison to what it is today. This unique exhibit uses both photography and historic objects to show the evolution of Farmington from small agricultural settlement to the bustling city of today. There will be a reception on Saturday, November 9, from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. While you browse the exhibit, enjoy the festivities that will be taking place for the Farmington Museum Foundation’s annual One Great Day of Shopping extravaganza event.

Pageant will be held at the Farmington Civic Center on Friday, June 13, 2014, 5:30 to 9:30 pm. Eligibility requirements: Must be a resident of Farmington, between the ages of 12-18, and provide proof of Tribal enrollment.

Registration for Wildlife Wednesdays2014-03-25T00:00:00Need a special summer activity for kids ages 7 -12? Register them by June 25 for Wildlife Wednesdays, a five-week series of outdoor activities and hikes (from July 2 - 30). Each week’s session is different, as we learn about bugs, birds, trails, the water creatures in the Animas River, plants, and more. $20 per person, snack included. Registration required at the Riverside Nature Center, or the Farmington Museum.

Learn about plants, insects, birds, and all the interesting wildlife. Feed the friendly ducks, and go home in time for naps. This program continues every week throughout the spring and summer.
