    Learn the fundamentals of gardening through this introductory series taught by Sarah Teofanov New Mexico State University's San Juan County Extension Office.   6. Moonlight Walk

    January 19, 2019, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Riverside Nature Center

    The park trails are beautiful by moonlight, with glimpses of animals, and maybe even the call of an owl. Snow makes it even prettier. Dress for the weather on this leisurely walk of about two miles as we look and listen. Children should be old enough to understand walking quietly. No pets please. Bring a flashlight, but we will hope that the moon will light our way.

    Teens 13 to 17 years old, join us for live Atomic Teen Science Cafes. Cafes provide teens interested in current science the opportunity to interact with scientists in a fun and informal setting. Come for amazing science, food (dinner is provided), and fun! If you need a ride from the southwest side of town, a shuttle will take you from Sycamore Park Community Center to the Farmington Museum!     SOLD OUT- Chevel Shepherd, country singer and latest winner of The Voice, will be giving back to her hometown with a free concert sponsored by the City of Farmington at the Farmington Civic Center on January 26, 2019. Tickets are required to attend the show, but are free to acquire. Chevel, quickly becoming known as “New Mexico’s Voice,” will take the stage at 7:00 p.m. following an opening performance by local band After Midnight starting at 6:30 p.m.
