    Teen Voices is a program designed for teenagers who wish to explore their creativity within various roles of theater. Teens are mentored by professionals as they receive hands-on experience on theatrical production ranging from positions on-stage to positions backstage to technical operations. Teens will acquire skills such as set building, prop creation, choreography, vocal performance, acting and much more while expressing their creativity and collaborating with their peers to produce a theatrical show.     All Shook Up is a new musical comedy built around a number of songs made famous by Elvis Presley. it's NOT a biographical revue. It takes place in 1955, somewhere in middle America, where one girl's dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll. Among the 24 songs feature in the score are classics like "Heartbreak Hotel," "Love Me Tender," "Don't Be Crue," "Can't Help Falling in Love," and of course the title tune, "All Shook Up." Wines of the San Juan will be serving on Friday and Saturday nights. Padded seat covers can be rented prior to the performances.

  6. Rock-N-Roll Tennis Camp Registration Deadline

    July 26, 2019, All Day @ Farmington Recreation Center

    Players 4 to 17 years old, join the Farmington Recreation Center for our Rock-N-Roll tennis camp held at the Farmington Sports/Tennis Complex on La Plata Highway Monday, July 29 through Thursday, August 1 (times vary depending on age group). This day camp will provide an introduction to the game of tennis including instruction on techniques, rules, and strategies. Each participant needs to wear comfortable clothing, athletic shoes, and a hat or visor. Also bring sunscreen, a water bottle, tennis racquet (or borrow one from the proshop, 325-7936), a positive attitude, and a desire to have fun!

    Join us for a Museum EdVenture! On Saturdays throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of the Four Corners on an all-day, adults-only field trip. Registration is required and transportation to and from the museum is provided. Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch. Farmington Museum Foundation Members, call to get a registration discount! In July, explore the cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Puebloans at Puye Cliffs.
