    Unearth the secrets of an ancient Egyptian world in an interactive exhibition at the Farmington Museum featuring the hidden stories and artifacts of a lost civilization. See a real human mummy, animal mummies, plus scans, forensic facial reconstructions, and for the first time ever, a life-size rapid prototype of a human mummy. Interpret ancient Egyptian art, decipher hieroglyphics and examine material remains using the tools and technology of archaeologists to unearth the mysteries of Egypt, its history, culture, and people.   2. Applications Available for Farmington American Indian Youth Ambassador

    March 16, 8:00 AM - June 5, 4:00 PM @ Farmington Indian Center

    Join us at the Farmington Civic Center, 200 W. Arrington, June 12, for this exciting event sponsored by the Farmington Indian Center. This event gives Farmington American Indian youths a chance to present their talent, leadership abilities, and desire to represent and serve Farmington’s American Indian community. Application packets are available at the Farmington Indian Center, 100 W. Elm, now through Friday, June 5, 2015. Eligibility requires the applicant must be a resident of Farmington, be between the ages of 12-18, and provide proof of Tribal enrollment. For all ages.

    March 23, 5:30 PM - April 23, 7:00 PM @ Farmington Museum

    Meet at the Farmington Museum for a walking tour of Downtown Farmington’s fascinating early history. Learn a little about the devastating Main St., fires, early architecture, pioneer community builders, and more! Transportation will be provided. Registration is required. Tour may be cancelled due to weather conditions.
