    Join Dr. Burris, Geology Professor and Paleontologist at San Juan College will be presenting at the Farmington Museum. The San Juan Basin has a rich history of fossil discovery and contains a record of time immediately before and after the extinction of the dinosaurs. Dr. Burris will give an overview of the kinds of plant and animal fossils that are found in the basin, the rocks that preserve those fossils, and how the environment changed during those times.

  3. Grandparents Day at Tyrannosaurs - Meet the Family

    We know, we know. Grandparents’ Day is in September. But we want to celebrate in March and April! Grandparents get in FREE to the Tyrannosaurs, Meet the Family exhibit with a paying grandchild ALL day March 27th and April 24th. PLUS, 1pm to 3pm there will be a special craft to do with the grands, we are sure everyone will have Tyrannoriffic time!! There is a $10 admission for the Tyrannosaurs exhibit for ages 3 and up. Regular hours are M-Sat 10am to 5pm , Sun noon to 5pm.
