  1. Man of La Mancha

    Audiences at the Farmington Civic Center soon will be able to share the delights of theatregoers all over the world in experiencing the Broadway musical interpretation of the world’s first modern novel, “Don Quixote of La Mancha.” “Man of La Mancha” is the musical version of this epoch-making novel and it’s headed to Farmington, New Mexico. On Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 7:30pm Don Quixote will bring his medieval chivalry and his quest for the impossible dream to the Farmington Civic Center stage. Against all odds, Don Quixote, a man who sees good and innocence in a world filled with darkness and despair will take the audience on a lyrical and amusing adventure that is a classic tale of the triumph of man over his own follies.

  1. Settlement to City

    November 4, 2013 - April 26, 2014 @ Farmington Museum

    The Farmington Museum invites you to view an expansive display of historic and contemporary photography at this new exhibit. Farmington has changed dramatically over the years. Experience a slice of Farmington's past in comparison to what it is today. This unique exhibit uses both photography and historic objects to show the evolution of Farmington from small agricultural settlement to the bustling city of today. There will be a reception on Saturday, November 9, from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. While you browse the exhibit, enjoy the festivities that will be taking place for the Farmington Museum Foundation’s annual One Great Day of Shopping extravaganza event.

  2. Call for Entries – 2014 Gateway to Imagination: A National Juried Art Competition

    December 6, 8:00 AM, 2013 - March 15, 2014, 5:00 PM @ Farmington Museum

    Attention artists! Get your work prepared for entry into the 2014 Gateway to Imagination: A National Juried Art Competition. The show will take place at the Farmington Museum from May 10 - July 12, 2014. All media accepted, open to artists 18 years and older, artwork must have been completed after January 1, 2013. The show will award $2,750 in cash prizes. There is a $35 entry fee for a maximum of 2 digital files. The entry deadline is March 15, 2014 and the prospectus can be found online at Online registration and submissions are available. There will be a juror lecture and reception on May 17, 2014.

  3. Applications available for Miss Indian Farmington 2014-2015

    January 10 - June 6 @ Farmington Indian Center

    Applications due by Friday, June 6 2014. Pageant will be held at the Farmington Civic Center on Friday, June 13, 2014, 5:30 to 9:30 pm. Eligibility requirements: Must be a resident of Farmington, between the ages of 12-18, and provide proof of Tribal enrollment.

  4. Cervical Cancer Awareness

    January 22, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Bonnie Dallas Senior Activity Center

    Topics for this presentation will discuss early detection to reduce development of cervical cancer, establish healthy habits that can reduce the occurrence by following basic tips, and yearly checkups with your physician. Presented by San Juan Regional Cancer Centers Glenda Allies-Fox, RN.
