  1. Settlement to City

    November 4, 2013 - April 26, 2014 @ Farmington Museum

    The Farmington Museum invites you to view an expansive display of historic and contemporary photography at this new exhibit. Farmington has changed dramatically over the years. Experience a slice of Farmington's past in comparison to what it is today. This unique exhibit uses both photography and historic objects to show the evolution of Farmington from small agricultural settlement to the bustling city of today. There will be a reception on Saturday, November 9, from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. While you browse the exhibit, enjoy the festivities that will be taking place for the Farmington Museum Foundation’s annual One Great Day of Shopping extravaganza event.

  2. Applications available for Miss Indian Farmington 2014-2015

    January 10 - June 6 @ Farmington Indian Center

    Applications due by Friday, June 6 2014. Pageant will be held at the Farmington Civic Center on Friday, June 13, 2014, 5:30 to 9:30 pm. Eligibility requirements: Must be a resident of Farmington, between the ages of 12-18, and provide proof of Tribal enrollment.

  3. Spring Fling Registration

    February 28, 8:00 AM - March 21, 5:00 PM @ Farmington Aquatic Center and Farmington Recreation Center

    Got nothing to do during Spring Break? Come join Farmington Aquatics and Farmington Recreation for some outdoor, activities, swimming, and arts & crafts. Starting February 28, you can register your child online, at the Farmington Recreation Center, or at the Farmington Aquatic Center, but hurry there are only 60 spots available.     Visit the Riverside Nature Center for this annual exhibit of pictures taken in Animas and Berg Parks. Scenery, wildlife, events, still life, people, and pets are just some of the subjects in this display of works by many photographers, professional and amateur.

  5. Riverside Nature Center Annual Volunteer Training

    March 19, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Riverside Nature Center

    Are you interested in ornithology, botany, zoology, ecology, geology, conservation, xeriscape gardening, or the history and beauty of our river parks? Then come to the Nature Center to learn how to become a nature trail guide! New and current Riverside Nature Center guides are invited to a training session designed to enhance volunteer skills in leading groups of children and others along the nature, woodland, and riverside trails of Animas and Berg Parks. We will walk the trails, discuss the variety of nature related programs offered for all age groups, and learn easy and fun techniques for teaching and managing groups. New guides will begin leading tours by assisting experienced docents. This training is mandatory for those docents ineterested in attending the Annual Docent Field Trip, this year to the Albuquerue Rio Grande Nature Center.
