The pool is 50 meters long. Swim wear is needed. Swimmers must traverse the pool whether by swimming or walking continually.
The Farmington Aquatic Center provides indoor water recreation for the whole family, year round. The options are endless:
- 50 meter Olympic-size pool with high and low diving boards
- 150 foot water slide
- Leisure / playground pool

Join the Farmington Museum for our annual national juried art competition, Gateway to Imagination. This show attracts fine artists from across the country and will feature approximately 100 entries, including paintings, watercolors, sculptures, photographs, and mixed media.

Join us for a Museum EdVenture! On Saturdays throughout the year, you will have the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of the Four Corners on an all-day, adults-only field trip. Transportation to and from the museum is provided. Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch. Farmington Museum Foundation Members, call to get a registration discount. On October 20, join archaeologist Doug Dykeman on a day-long tour of some off-the-beaten-path sites Dinétah. We will explore remote pueblitos, including Three Corn, Old Fort, and Jesus Canyon ruins and riveting rock art. The EdVenture leaves at 8:00 a.m. and will return at 6:00 p.m.

The Farmington Daily Times has documented the history of the city and the surrounding areas for almost seventy years. Beginning as the weekly Farmington Times Hustler in 1903, the newspaper changed its name to the Daily Times when in commenced daily service in 1949. The paper amassed countless images over the years, and in 1995, the DAily Times donated its archival collection of photographs to the Farmington Museum. For the first time, examples from the collection will be on display in the museum's lobby.

Would you like to learn more about herbs, native plants, and xeriscape landscaping, or do you just enjoy gardening? Come and help prepare the Riverside Nature Center Xeriscape Demonstration Garden for fall as staff and volunteers groom the gardens, update the signs, and enjoy working together. There are tasks for everyone whatever your skills or physical abilities.
