Since opening in 1986, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science has become the number one place to view dinosaurs from New Mexico.   3. History Hike: Natural Bridges National Monument - SOLD OUT

    History Hikes are back! Join us for these adult-only fun and informative hikes that explore the cultural and natural history of the Four Corners region. Registration is required. This program includes transportation to the museum and back and a lunch. In May, we will hike a 5.8-mile loop to explore Natural Bridges National Monument in Utah's two largest natural bridges, the sandstone cliffs of White Canyon, and the Horse Collar Ruins.

    Maps have been used since the dawn of civilization to document places and to show physical features, such as rivers, roads, and boundaries. Upon closer examination, they also provide insights into the people that made them and the times in which they were created. Showcasing a variety of examples from the late nineteenth century to the present, the exhibition, North, South, East and West uses maps from the Farmington Museum collection to explore the history of the region.
