Since opening in 1986, the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science has become the number one place to view dinosaurs from New Mexico.     Maps have been used since the dawn of civilization to document places and to show physical features, such as rivers, roads, and boundaries. Upon closer examination, they also provide insights into the people that made them and the times in which they were created. Showcasing a variety of examples from the late nineteenth century to the present, the exhibition, North, South, East and West uses maps from the Farmington Museum collection to explore the history of the region.
