Vision Statement 

The purpose of the Farmington Aquatics Divsion is to contruct
and operate year around and seasonal aquatic facilities with a
commitment to provide affordable and accessible aquatic recreation, fitness, competition, water safety, and aquatic trainings for people of all ages and ablilites, locally and the surrounding area.

August 16:  Farmington Aquatic Center Fall Hours Begin
Fall/Winter/Spring (Academic schedule) begins:  Public swim will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm, Saturday will be 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm, and on Sunday will be 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (leisure pool only).  Lap swimming will be available on Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 7:30 pm and during public swim time on Saturday.
September 26:  Swimming Lesson Registration
Lesson registration will begin at 8:00 am for classes that begin on Sept. 29, 2014.  Classes are for 4-weeks two days a week.  Morning classes for PreSchool Levels and evening classes for Pre-School levels and Levels 1-6.  The cost is $35.00 per child.
October 2014:  Lifeguard Class
Want to be a certified Lifeguard?  Sign up for our Lifeguard Class.  Class will be October 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, and 29, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  The cost is $100.00 per person.  A swim pre-test is required.  For more information please call us (505) 599-1167.

October 24:  Swimming Lesson Registration

October 24:  Get Pinked at Animas Park
Come join the City of Farmington at Animas Park and Get Pinked from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm!!  There will be plenty of games, prizes, tattoos, etc.  The cost is FREE!!
October 31:  Boo-Palooza Downtown Farmington
The Downtown Association is partnering with Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs Department.  The Recreation Center, Sycamore Park Community Center, The Aquatic Center, and the Civic Center staffs will join us on Main Street for Carnival Games, a Monster Mash Dance in Orchard Park, A Costume Contest for Children and even those decked out Pets, and lots more!!  
The party will be from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
