The Farmington Recreation Center is committed to developing and offering diverse quality recreational opportunities in a safe and pleasant environment that nurture and enrich the lives of citizens of all ages in the community

The center offers ongoing services and programs, including racquetball, wally ball, and exercise classes in addition to seasonal adult sports, youth programs, and special events throughout the year.

Farmington Recreation will host the very first 3V3 in Farmington, NM
Saturday, September 5, 2015, starting at 9:00 a.m.  
The 3V3 format offers fast paced, skill building, fun soccer for players of all ages. 

3v3 Live is open to male and female teams, ages 6 to adults.  Parent or coaches can organize and coach 3v3 teams.  Each team may have up to six players.  All teams are guaranteed a minimum of four games.

Every player will receive an official 3v3 Live Tour T-shirt.  Medals will be awarded to players on the top 3 teams in each division.  Improve your teams and individual player’s skills for the upcoming tournament season.  The top four teams in each division are qualified to play in the 3v3 Live Regional Championship Tournament.  Teams qualify for the 3v3 World Championship at Disney World!

Early registration deadline is 
August 5th with an early registration fee of $170 per team.
Standard registration deadline is August 21st with a fee of  $185 per team.
Late registration deadline is August 30th with a fee of $200 per team.

Walk Laps in the Gym - Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., no charge
Shuffleboard  - Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. to Noon, no charge
Ping Pong - Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. to Noon, no charge

Want to just shoot some baskets or play in a quick pickup basketball game? Check out the Recreation Center’s open gym hours at the front desk!  $1.00 per person

Tuesday/Thursday, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
With instructor Shirley Murphy, interval-training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt the body while burning fat.  Check out the website at

With Jazzercise you'll tighten and tone with dance, yoga, Pilates, and kickboxing movements choreographed to fun music, in just 60 minutes.  This is your hour.  Come try it out - 1st class is free!  For more info call 320-5364 or visit

Scheduled on the hour, evening reservations strongly recommended but not required.  For reservations, call (505) 599-1184.  Racquetball courts are closed seasonally during certain hours of the day due to school district use and the summer recreation program.  Rates per person per court: $3.00 per person per hour.

Wally Ball is a game similar to volleyball played on a racquetball court, 2-4 people on each side recommended - $2.00 per person per hour.  The wallyball courts are 1, 3, and 4.
