The Regional Animal Shelter Foundation
The New Farmington Regional Animal Shelter

Five years and six months ago we had a dream. That dream was to build a new, modern, regional animal shelter to provide a haven for unwanted, lost or ill animals.  Our hope was to give more animals a new lease on life.
This became a reality on February 13, 2013 when ground was broken for construction of a new shelter.

The new Farmington Regional Animal Shelter has replaced the Farmington Animal Shelter and has become one of the area's premier animal shelters. The new shelter has a visible location at the corner of Browning Parkway and the entrance to Animas Park.

The reality of this shelter was made possible because of the many businesses, schools, organizations, and individuals who, with their donations, became “owners” in the new facility. However, many additions for the shelter are still needed.

This new shelter marks a new era in homeless pet care for the Four Corners and you can be a part of it! Be a part of history in the making and support this project.

We are asking, if you would like to have “ownership” by making a contribution of your choice. Here are some possibilities:

Y Any and all donations will be listed in Memorial Donor Book

Y Donations are always appreciated to aid in animal transport services

Y Blankets, toys, bedding, and animal food

               Y Kuranda Beds

Each tax deductible donation will carry permanent recognition in the Memorial Donor Book.  The animals of San Juan County would appreciate your generosity. Donations may be sent to:

Regional Animal Shelter Foundation
P.O. Box 1242
Farmington, NM  87499

There are plenty of donation opportunities. Even the smallest amount can make the difference.  A heartfelt thanks from the Regional Animal Shelter Foundation.
