 Farmington Lake Notification

Upon staff analysis and expert outside consultation, as a preventative measure to Quagga and Zebra Mussel contamination, we will be closing Farmington Lake immediately to ALL public non city-sponsored boat usage.

PRCA and Police staff will be increasing  patrols and enforcement at the Lake.

 Construction Advisories

  • Chip Sealing:  

    Due to Weather and Temperature, the City of Farmington will be delaying Chip Sealing until May, 2015.   The affected streets are:

     

    • Linda Lane, Samantha Lane, Schmitt Road , Hallmarc Drive, and  Pryor Lane

  • Amsden Drive between Dustin Avenue and Gibson Avenue will be COMPLETELY CLOSED beginning Tuesday, August 26, 2014 through Friday, September 26, 2014 to allow for waterline installation.

Detours and barricading will be in place and delays are expected. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.  

  • Edgecliff Drive at 30th Street will be COMPLETELY CLOSED beginning Tuesday, September 23, 2014 and Wednesday, September 24, 2014 to allow for storm drain improvements. 

    Local residents are encouraged to use Cherry Hills to access homes on Edgecliff Drive near 30th Street.  

    Detours and barricading will be in place. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.  Public patience and cooperation will be appreciated and we apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Gibson Avenue,  Amsden to Tycksen will be restricted to one (1) lane Tuesday, September 23, 2014 through Friday, October 31, 2014 to allow for utility installation. 

    Detours and barricading will be in place. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.  Public patience and cooperation will be appreciated and we apologize for any inconvenience.
