SCHEDULED WATER OUTAGE NOTICE

Please be advised the City of Farmington has scheduled a water main line tie in, at the 30th St. & Dustin Ave. intersection on Sunday December 16, 2018. The water will be shut off on Crestridge Dr. from 30th St. to 35th St.; on 30th St. from Espacio St. to Butler Ave.; on 38th St. from Melrose Pl. to Butler Ave.; on Santa Barbara Dr.; on Catalina Ct.; and the entire Sunset Heights Subdivision. The tie in is expected to take place between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm.  While every effort will be made to complete the repairs within this time frame, unforeseen circumstances may require a longer outage. If the service disruption will last significantly longer than anticipated, updates will be provided.

STREET RESTRICTION & CLOSURE NOTICES

Please be advised:


  • Southside River Road from Broadway Avenue to Meadowview Drive will be CLOSED beginning Monday, December 17, 2018 through Tuesday, December 18, 2018 to allow for waterline installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • Downtown Main Street between Wall Street and Locke Avenue will be CLOSED between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm.  Additionally, Orchard Avenue between Arrington Street and Main Street also be CLOSED between 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm to allow for the 2018 Reindeer Romp 5K Run.


  • Murray Drive between Camina Entrada and Illinois Avenue will be RESTRICTED beginning Friday, December 14, 2018 through Thursday, January 17, 2019 to allow for waterline installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  


  • Sycamore Street between Griffen Avenue and S. Carlton Avenue will be RESTRICTED beginning Wednesday, December 12, 2018 through Wednesday, December 19, 2018 to allow for waterline replacement. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • The intersection at Pinon Hills Blvd. and E. Main St. will be RESTRICTED beginning Wednesday. December 5, 2018 through Wednesday, December 19, 2018 to allow for utility work. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  


  • San Juan Blvd. between Scott Ave. and Butler Ave. will be RESTRICTED beginning Wednesday, December 5, 2018 through Friday, December 28, 2018 to allow for waterline installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  


  • The eastbound lane of W. Arrington St. between Allen Ave. and Wall Ave. will be RESTRICTED starting Monday, December 3, 2018 through Thursday, December 27, 2018 to allow for sidewalk construction. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • Murray Dr. from Bluffview Ave. east to S. Carlton Ave. will be RESTRICTED beginning Monday, November 26, 2018 through Wednesday, December 26, 2018 to allow for waterline installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • Waterline installation continues on 30th St. from Dustin Ave. to Butler Ave.  The street will continue to be RESTRICTED through Friday, December 21, 2018. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm  


  • McCarty Ave. from McKinsey Ave. to Martello St. will be RESTRICTED beginning Tuesday, November 20, 2018 through Monday, December 31, 2018 to allow for utility work. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • Waterline installation continues on Old McCormick School Rd. from Hydro Plant Rd. to Broadway Ave. The road will remain CLOSED through Friday, December 28, 2018. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • Broadway Ave. from Lake St. to Schwartz Ave. will be RESTRICTED beginning Monday, October 15, 2018 through Friday, December 28, 2018 to allow for water line installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm 


  • Behrend Ave. between Broadway Ave. to W. Main St. will be RESTRICTED beginning Monday, September 17, 2018 through Friday, December 28, 2018 to allow for new water line installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm


  • Broadway Ave. between S. Miller Ave. to Auburn Ave. will be RESTRICTED to two lanes starting Wednesday, June 13, 2018 through Friday, December 28, 2018 to allow for waterline installation. CONSTRUCTION HOURS: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

POTHOLE PATCHING & CRACK-SEALING PROJECT

The City of Farmington Streets Department will be potholing various locations throughout the City. Locations may be RESTRICTED for a short period of time during this process, detours and barricades will be in place.

FOOTHILLS DR. ENHANCEMENT - PHASE I

The project will involve reconstructing Foothills Dr. from Holmes Drive to Rinconada St. The reconstructed road will have two 11' wide travel lanes, two 5' wide bike lanes, one 10' wide detached multi-use path, drainage structures, medians and a roundabout.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE

Residents can expect occasional lane closures due to final construction.

The 2P, Phase 1 Waterline Replacement Project is currently in progress.  This major project includes replacement waterlines on  Griffen, Graham, Plum, Bramble, Poplar, Sycamore and S. Dustin.  Anticipated project completion is January 16, 2019.
