Guardians of the Good

Several police chiefs, fire chiefs, and the sheriff in San Juan County have joined together for Guardians of the Good this year. Chief Steve Hebbe, his wife Janet Hebbe, and Fire Chief David Burke formed Guardians of the Good and sought donations to build a fund to help give back to those in the community who were dealing with hard times, but still giving back to others. Last year through nominations from our community Guardians of the Good, was able to help several amazing individuals right here in San Juan County.
This year we want to be able to help even MORE. More of our community leaders have gotten involved this time, and we hope to have an even bigger impact on those individuals in our area who are selflessly giving despite their own tough circumstances. We need your help to find those amazing people, though. Those individuals who are making a difference daily in our community even though they face difficulties in their own lives. Nominations are open until December 16th at 8 a.m., after which Guardians of the Good will select this year's recipients.
You can also donate to the Guardians of the Good fund. Please make donations out to San Juan Safe Communities Initiative memo to Guardians of the Good and drop it off or mail it to 100 W Broadway Farmington, NM 87401.
