If you are 60 years or older, you may join us for fun trips to different locations around the Four Corners. Transportation to and from the senior center is provided. Registration at the Senior Center is required. There is moderate walking and standing for long periods involved on all the trips.

This event will include exciting science, take-home materials, and engaging discussion about science and society. Participants will have a chance to safely observe the surface of the sun, explore the ways our universe is expanding, build their own electroscope to detect static electricity, perform experiments with erosion, and much more! These fun activities introduce guests to the ongoing research happing at NASA in fields of heliophysics, Earth science, planetary science, and astrophysics and allow hands-on interaction with Earth and space science concepts.

Using techniques and approaches gleaned from nature, art, architecture, and craft, Steven Barr creates woodworking patterns that are both practical and playful. His unique visual palate mixes woods and wood textures in a reverent approach to the materials and processes of woodcraft. Beautifully handcrafted examples of his work, ranging from inventive sculptures to intricate furniture pieces will be on display.

The Four Corners Photographic Society is a local photography club consisting of members from the Four Corners region. Representing all levels of skill, in every genre of photography, the lobby exhibition emphasizes the creative expression of the recording and presentation of images taken from a variety of locations.

Players 4 to 17 years old, join the Farmington Recreation Center for our U.S. Open tennis camp held at the Farmington Sports/Tennis Complex on La Plata Highway Monday, July 22 through Thursday, July 25 (times vary depending on age group). This day camp will provide an introduction to the game of tennis including instruction on techniques, rules, and strategies. Each participant needs to wear comfortable clothing, athletic shoes, and a hat or visor. Also bring sunscreen, a water bottle, tennis racquet (or borrow one from the proshop, 325-7936), a positive attitude, and a desire to have fun!

All Shook Up is a new musical comedy built around a number of songs made famous by Elvis Presley. it's NOT a biographical revue. It takes place in 1955, somewhere in middle America, where one girl's dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll. Among the 24 songs feature in the score are classics like "Heartbreak Hotel," "Love Me Tender," "Don't Be Crue," "Can't Help Falling in Love," and of course the title tune, "All Shook Up."
Wines of the San Juan will be serving on Friday and Saturday nights. Padded seat covers can be rented prior to the performances.
